[Top 10] CS:GO Best Deathmatch Servers That Are Fun (2022)

Want a DM that’s useful and fun? 128 tick servers? HS only? Custom skins? You got it.

These DMs range from pistols to rifles to AWPs.

You can also subscribe to a plethora of custom maps and DM there as well. All you need to do is go to your steam profile page under the community and workshop category, search for the appropriate map, and click the plus or subscribe button. Then restart the game.

One last note. If you wish to join any of these servers, simply copy and paste the IP address into your console. For example, you can C&P, without the quotations, "Connect: 209.222.98.150:27015" to join a DM server on Mirage.

That said, here's my top 10 deathmatch servers in 2022 thus far.

10. FragShack 24/7 HS FFA | 128 tick

Body Image
Headshots only.

Connect: 192.223.30.162.27015

Located in Chicago, this server holds up to ~16 players. At a minimum, you’ll usually see about 1-8 players with bots mixed in. What’s great about this DM is that you’re constantly working on your aim, movement, and placement. That sounds like any other DM, but the difference here is that 1) it's free for all, so encounters are more frequent and 2) your aim has to be spot on thanks to the HS only feature. Fortunately, there aren’t too many players that’ll show up, so you won’t always be dying right after you spawn. Plus, since it’s just a DM, stats don’t count, so you’re in a relatively safe environment to practice freely.

Working on your headshots improves one-tap accuracy, burst accuracy, and shot placement. Ideally, it should help with your movement as well (try to maintain it at head level).

Key Features

  • HS only
  • FFA
  • 128 tick
  • 8-16 players, with some bots mixed in when the server is empty
  • Dust 2

9. Team DM | 64 Tick (Official Servers)

Image
Body Image
Usually holds up to 10 players or so.

If you’re worried about constantly dying (from respawns), then team deathmatch might be for you. Here, you go up against ~5 players for 10 minutes or less. If there are no players (or only a few), bots fill the gap for the time being. Maps vary from the competitive map pool and then some.

Team DM’s are useful when you want to play with a group of friends (or strangers) and give you more breathing room compared to FFA servers.

The only downside is that it's not offered in 128 tick. But, feel free to look for this type of match in the Community Servers.

Key Features

  • HS and Non-HS welcome
  • Play with a team of 5 or so
  • Includes maps from the competitive pool
  • Die less often

8. -=WarmupServer=-™ @NIGHT ★FFA★

Image
Body Image
DM on Inferno.

Connect: 85.14.232.74:27015

Located in Germany. One of the only servers that offers DM on Inferno (not at night). Unfortunately, the average number of players is fairly low, but bots fill the gap for the time being. Like other WarmupServers, modes change from pistols only to rifles and so on for a total time of 30 minutes per match. I find it surprising that DM on Inferno is unpopular since it’s one of the most played maps in the competitive pool. Assuming your ping doesn’t skyrocket, I’d give it a go.

Key Features

  • Max Players: 20
  • FFA (HS only and Normal Mode)
  • Pistol Rounds
  • Inferno (128 tick)
  • Located in Germany

7. Tarik.GG DM 3 NYC

DM on Mirage.

Connect: 209.222.98.150:27015

A simple, yet effective DM on Mirage. For starters, it’s FFA. The server holds up to 20 players, so you’ll be respawning quite a bit. AWPs are limited to 1 per side, but VIP’s might be an exception.

Tarik’s 128 tick DM servers seem to be quite popular overall, and thus tend to fill up quickly throughout the day (or at least one of them). The only issue is that you’ll sometimes get kicked to make room for VIP reservations.

So if you want a 128 tick server that generally has people in it, with constant battles and respawns, give Tarik’s servers a go.

Key Features

  • 20 players max
  • 128 tick server
  • Mirage
  • Limited AWPS from time to time
  • Located in New York

6. BrutalCS -  08 ★ PISTOL HS ★ MIRAGE ★

Image
Body Image
Located in Sweden.

Connect: 178.236.67.4:27015

Unlike most DM servers, Brutal CS provides a 24/7 Pistol HS-only setting. Assuming your ping isn’t too high, this Swedish server could help with your pistol accuracy.

As I’ve touched on before, using HS-only servers can have an impact on your initial and overall accuracy. That is, since your only option is to aim for the head, you need to develop near-perfect accuracy to adapt, at a fairly rapid rate. Spraying down with rifles, then would be more like a backup plan in case you don’t get the headshot. Furthermore, when you’re going up against a rifler using a pistol, you might only have 1 or 2 shots to spare before dying.

So as you gradually work on your pistol HS accuracy, your aim and movement should improve rapidly (assuming you’re constantly trying to move at head level). Or, at least for the first few shots of an encounter (outside of spray).

Key Features

  • Pistol and HS only 24/7
  • Located in Sweden
  • 128 Tick
  • Mirage
  • FFA

5. Tarik.GG Pistol DM 2 FFA

Image
Body Image
A 24/7 pistol DM alternative.

Connect: 104.238.222.226:27015

Located in LA, this server offers pistols on ~Mirage 24/7. The max number of players is 18 with a round time of 60 minutes. When there are no players, bots fill the slots for the time being. While there are a few similar servers, some of them are outside of the U.S (as your ping may skyrocket). Otherwise, feel free to look in the Community Servers for more options. Furthermore, some servers do provide pistol rounds, but only for a short period of time.

Practicing with pistols can help you win various rounds, including the 1st and 16th (or first round of each half). As a result, you and your team gain the initial advantage. But even if you don’t win those rounds, you can still get impact kills from anti-eco rounds, save rounds, or close to full buy rounds. Not only do you destroy your opponent’s economy from a relatively inexpensive buy, but now you can take their rifle or AWP, for example. Meanwhile, learning how to use pistols can help level your shots (towards the head) since there is no need to spray down. You’ll end up working on your movement as well.

It’s also kind of nice to go against other players using a pistol compared to a rifle. At least, every now and then.

Key Features

  • Pistol only 24/7
  • Mirage
  • 128 tick
  • Located in Los Angeles
  • Max Players: 18

4. DM FFA !WS !knife !gloves 128T

Choose your own skins.

Connect: 192.223.24.235:27015

Not only does this server let you fight on Mirage, but now, you can do so in style. From weapon skins to knives and gloves, there’s a wide assortment to choose from. Simply enter the command into the chat display and a menu should pop up.

Aside from skins, the server holds up to 20 players or so. The match always seems to be on Mirage and resets every 60 minutes.

Lastly, it’s in 128 tick.

So if you want a DM that’s engaging, customizable, and on Mirage, give it a go.

Key Features

  • FFA
  • Weapon, glove, and knife skins
  • Mirage
  • 128 tick
  • Located in the U.S.

3. -=WarmupServer=-™ Dust2 ★FFA-DM★

Image
Body Image
A Dust 2 DM alternative.

Connect: 195.7.2.59:27075

Another FFA option for 128 tick users. The match holds up to 22 players and averaged 18 users in the past month. So there’s a good chance you’ll be constantly fighting and respawning. Unlike most DM’s, this server alternates between normal, HS only, pistols HS only, pistols only, and so on (all FFA). Some modes are longer than the others, however. Furthermore, each round consists of roughly 30 minutes.

So if you want to mix up your practice routines all in one convenient match, try the -=WarmupServer(s)=-™. They’re predominantly for Dust 2 and Mirage. You can also find them in the Community Servers.

Key Features

  • HS only and HS pistols only (~4 min. each)
  • Dust 2
  • Enemies are almost everywhere
  • Located in the U.S.
  • Mirage Edition (connect: 66.206.9.245:27015)

2.-=WarmupServer=-™ HS★FIXED★DM★

Image

HS only on Dust 2.

Connect: 74.91.115.50:27015

An alternative HS-only server located in Chicago. The map is always Dust 2. So far, the map averages about 12 players a month with 21 as the max. HS-only servers aren’t as popular as their non-hs counterpart, but they’re still useful nonetheless. In fact, if you want to develop laser-like aim, incorporating a headshot-only routine helps since there is less room for error. Also, if one HS server is empty, it’s always nice to have another one in hand.

Key Features

  • HS only 24/7
  • Dust 2
  • 128 tick rate
  • FFA
  • 21 players max

1. AWP Only gloveworks mango | 128T

Image
Body Image
AWP all you want.

Connect: 162.248.93.5:27015

Technically, this isn’t a true DM server, but each round lasts about 30-60 seconds and immediately transitions thereafter. It’s one of the few AWP-only servers in my book that tends to have people on a consistent basis. The max number of players is 28 with an average of 8 people last month.

The way it works is as follows: You play on a team and fight against another team. The maps are close range, so encounters are imminent. So even if you die early, all your team needs to do is eliminate the other team, rather than kill every other member. This can happen within 30 seconds or so, and therefore doesn’t need to extend to the full 60. Most maps, if not all, have spots where you can go up, and sometimes down. It’s also good practice for no scopes, since the range is limited.

On top of all that, the server offers AWP, gloves, and knife skins.

So even though you don’t respawn right away as you would in a DM, it certainly feels like one since the rounds are short and you’re constantly fighting.

Key Features

  • US/128 tick server
  • Very short rounds
  • AWP Only
  • 28 players max
  • Close range maps
