Rudy started his gaming career with the Backyard Sports and Donkey Kong series (SNES) around
the age of 6. As he entered middle and high school, he experimented with the Shining Force and Final Fantasy series. Currently, he goes back and forth playing older RPGs such as Gungnir/Growlanser with more recent titles, such as CS:GO, MLB The Show 20, and Planet Coaster. He graduated with a bachelor's degree at San Diego State, majoring in marketing. With his expertise in business communications, he enjoys writing in-depth about video games using detailed, but concise language. As a hobby, he also enjoys studying psychology, knowing gamers are always trying to find ways to outsmart their opponents, and whether or not rushing B is always the best option. Customizable characters and skills with a unique battle system draws him to the RPG genre, with training and patience as his guide. Playing a variety of games adds to his palette, with over 3000 hours in CS GO, MLB The Show, and over 200 hours in Final Fantasy Tactics/Shining Force Series, sprinkled in with other RPG's.
What he loves most about video games is the reward for accomplishing them, given the often difficult journey that follows and the mind games that every player goes through.
