From the moment she held an N64 controller at the age of 6, Kayla knew she was meant to game. From Pokemon to Age of Empires to Mass Effect and Elder Scrolls, there is nothing she won't try at least once. Kayla is a self-published author, creative writing teacher, and aspiring full-time blogger. She has an honours degree in English Literature from Trent University, and her Bachelor of Education from Queen's Univeristy. She has been known to forget to eat when playing any sort of tycoon or simulator, most notably Planet Coaster, any Sims installment, Prison Architect, Banished, and Cities Skylines. For Kayla, the biggest benefit of writing about games is the sense of accomplishment from creating a written piece. Gaming and writing are integral components of her life and getting to combine them is the cat's pajamas.
