On my first birthday, my father programmed our Apple MacIntosh (Mac) to sing my name when I turned it on, and this computer introduced me to video games, with its simple yet fun black-and-white side-scrollers. From that humble start, I moved on to a Mac Performa with educational games, and then Dell PCs with MS-DOS and early Windows games such as Myst.

In 2001, I was introduced to console gaming via Nintendo’s GameCube, where I enjoyed being engrossed in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine, and Sonic the Hedgehog. Since then, I have owned a Wii, Xbox 360, laptops, and desktops, with a growing library of Steam games across several genres, with standouts such as the Dark Souls series, Sekiro, Skyrim, and Destiny 2, among others, each earning over a hundred hours of my play-time. Additionally, I regularly read the latest video games news and keep up with gaming industry trends.

From an efficient home office, I have enjoyed witnessing the growth in video games’ potential to offer immersive entertainment. An active participant in and supporter of the video gaming community, I am eager and happy to report on gaming topics, so gamers like you can get the most enjoyment and knowledge out of this hobby!
