New and improved guide.

Get to Work brought fame into gameplay for Sims 4, and there are many ways to gain fame. The sims team made it simple enough by using your sims' skills and careers as the ideal way to earn fame points.

You are probably wondering which way is the best for gaining fame. Consider it a new and enhanced guide through the Sims 4 fame gain.

These methods are some of the best from the top Sims 4 guide channels on YouTube. Let's take a look at how to gain that fame for your celebrity sim.

10. Use Noticeable Fame Perk

It's very Noticable to want to be a famous sim.

With many ways for you to gain fame for your gameplay, looking for a simple way to begin is ideal. One of the easiest ways to gain fame is to use a perk from your sim's fame info page; the fame perk is Noticeable.

Noticeable is one of the first perks available to purchase with your sim's fame points. The only thing you’ll need to do is have one star in your fame.

This perk will give your sim a chance to gain bonus fame from skills and careers. Don't worry; you can change it later on if you want to work with another perk for a while.

How It Works:

  • Must be at least one star celebrity to purchase
  • Career and Skill based
  • Gain bonus fame

9. Prime Time TV

Ever dream of being on Prime Time TV? Time to let that dream fly into the your sim's life.

There are many gigs for your sim to do when in the actor career. You will want to look for Prime Time TV gigs, which will provide the best fame gain for your actor sims.

Your sim will need to be in the actor career for this method to be available in the first place. Make sure you read the gigs carefully for the prime time gigs, though it will be in the later levels of the career.

We all know that it is easier said than done, but once you get to that prime time with the skills of the craft, your sim will be gaining more fame than you could imagine. With any method, entertainment is the main thought behind gaining fame.

How It Works:

  • Be an actor
  • Complete daily task
  • Key skills charisma, guitar, handiness, fitness, and comedy

8. Simstagram

Simstagram or Instagram? That is the question.

Have you ever heard the saying "art imitates life?" Using the Sims 4 Simstagram from their phone imitates today's society for gaining fame.

By clicking on your sim's phone, you will find the options to update post on Simstagram. Doing this will gain your sim easy fame.

Utilizing the social media aspect of The Sims 4 is a perfect way for your sims to get their rise to fame. Be careful; posting on Simstagram can lead to a quirk for your famous sims.

How It Works:

  • Use sim’s cell
  • Select Add to Simstagram Story
  • Gain followers and fame

7. Video Gaming Tournaments

From Youtube to the Sims 4. Fame can come from a simple game.

Fame doesn't always mean you are an actor, writer, or musician. Some are video gamers, which can lead them to gain fame from the Video Gaming Tournaments.

On The MotionMonitor Gaming Mat and computers, your sim can enter Novice and Professional Game Tournaments, which will earn them fame points on placing third and up. The Gaming Tournaments do have more than just the fame gain, but that is beside the point.

Be sure to build your sim's video gaming skill for the best results. At least your sim will have tons of fun while doing this method.

How It Works:

  • Use video gaming skill
  • Place third or up
  • Build skill to gain more

6. Entertain the Public

Time to dust of that violin, or your singing voice.

Gaining fame points was designed with entertaining sims in mind. If you get your sim to sing, dance, or plan an instrument in public, they will gain fame for entertaining the other sims.

While using this method, you will want to build those particular skills for the best results. Better you are at singing, playing an instrument, or dancing, the more sims you will entertain for your fame gain.

Dancing in a group will also assist in getting your sim more fame points. Entertaining the public can go great with the entertainment career, making your sim a famous singer, etc.

How It Works:

  • Play an instrument in public
  • Sing at the clubs
  • Dance either solo or in a group

5. Fame Perks

If you got the perks, then you best use them to help yourself out.

When you gain your first star of fame, you will be able to spend points on Fame Perks. These perks assist your sim in their journey through their game.

You will see different trees to pick from to spend points in the Fame Info panel. There are five trees of Fame Perks for you to utilize to gain more fame and keep from losing it.

The three trees in the middle of the Fame Info panel are the main perks that you will be utilizing for your sim. Depending on their reputation, you can access the smaller two trees on either side for extra.

How It Works:

  • After the using the Noticeable perk reset
  • Move to different trees of the perks
  • Build perks around sim’s career

4. Photography

Photograph that salad! It may just make you famous.

In Sims 4, sims have many cameras available to take photos and build their photography skill. Utilizing the Photography skill, your sim can gain fame.

Once your sim takes a picture of your sim's chosen subject, they can hang it on the wall to upload it to Simstagram or sell it to publication. The amount of fame is also dependent on the photo's quality, which is reflective of the skill level.

If your sim has a pet, they can even use pictures of that pet to gain fame. Perhaps your sim has a favorite model they want to photograph; selling those photos to publication or uploading them to Simstagram will gain fame.

How It Works:

  • Use a camera to photograph
  • Upload to Simstagram
  • Sell to Publication

3. Make Paintings

That gremlin in your basement might have turned into a famous painter.

Most simmers will have their sims paint to gain quick simoleons when first beginning their game. Having your sim paint can also be used to gain fame, which can be increased depending on skill level.

Selling your sim's painting to the gallery will grant them fame with money dependent on the quality. It is important to build that skill for a better outcome.

My sim can sell to a collector instead of the gallery, though further research has shown that your sim usually sells to the collector first. With that in mind, to gain fame your sim needs to sell to a collector or to the gallery.

How It Works:

  • Have an easel
  • Sale to Gallery/Collector
  • Better quality more fame gained

2. Video Station

If Youtubers can do it, so can your sim.

With Get Famous, we received a Video Station, used for fame gain, etc. Replying to comments is one of the easiest ways to have your sim gain fame, but it isn't the only way to use the Video Station.

Once your sim has created a video, you can have them add special effects, transitions and edit the video for the best results. After your sim is satisfied, have them upload the video; uploading a good video increases your fame gain.

Don't forget to add to your station by improving your lights. Your sim should always put out their best videos for the best fame gain.

How It Works:

  • Comes with Get Famous
  • Make and upload videos
  • Reply to the comments

1. Publish Books

Famous authors have always been a thing. Will you be the Stephen King of the Sims 4 world?

One of my favorite ways to play is to have a sim that is a writer. As they publish books, they begin to gain fame quickly.

Your sims have many options for selling your sim's new book, though selling to a publisher will triple their fame gain. It is ideal to have a high writing skill for the chance of getting that bestseller.

Bestsellers are the best in the quest for gaining fame. Mystery, science fiction, and fantasy are usually the best for gaining fame, but your sim can write any genre to gain fame. You just need the book.

How It Works:

  • Publish books your sim writes
  • Bestsellers are best
  • Selling to publisher is triple the fame
