In the realm of gaming and entertainment, meet Madi—an accomplished wordsmith whose expertise in writing transcends virtual boundaries. Her background is a mosaic of experience, education, and notable achievements that form the foundation of her craft. With a seasoned pen, she navigates the gaming landscape, drawing from a wealth of personal experience and a love for diverse genres.

I have been in the writing niche for the last 5 years, as I found it was a great way to express myself as well as develop an underappreciated skill. I started my writing journey long after my love for games started, and it's a miracle they can blend. I love being able to combine 2 different passions into art. I started my writing journey by starting at my town's local newspaper, writing articles weekly, after that, the opportunities kept coming in and I just kept writing. I enjoy ghostwriting work the most, but have experience writing entire books to even scientific papers.

My gaming journey isn't just a pastime; it's a passion and started when I got my first Nintendo handheld at the age of 7. Since that day, my childhood and teenage time was filled with gaming, at one point I was even a Twitch streamer before college priorities had to take over. Even with a heavy semester load for 3 years of which I obtained my bachelor's in biology, I still kept playing games like Smash or Mario Kart to deal with stress even if it was not being streamed.

Gaming, like writing, is another way for me to escape the woes of everyday life and has provided so many heartfelt memories, amazing teammates, and lifelong friendships. It has allowed me to learn other ways to think outside the box, as well as provided inspiration for some of my writing. Some of my favorite games include Stardew Valley, the Sims franchise, and Minecraft. I know what you are thinking by reading that, but don't worry, I also enjoy Rust, CS: GO, and Rocket League. Simulation games are my favorite because of how well they allow me to destress and kick my feet up. I used to write previous articles on simulation games back when I was starting, and I'd love to continue the tradition.
