Unstopped even by arrows to the knees, she followed dark and labyrinthine paths which have led her to frozen Nordic lands and beyond. With a penchant for Greek mythology, Camelia used her eloquence, endurance, and perception skills to take herself and her feline companions to the places where their dreams reside.
Published author of several short stories, she’s an enthusiastic member of a creative writing group and also endeavors to write a novel inspired by her many hours spent playing various video games (think GTA!).
Following her Bachelor’s degree in English, she professionally led a team as Editor-in-chief for 3 years. Now living in Helsinki, she works as an accomplished translator and passionate writer while also conquering Finnish as her fifth language. Her ubiquitous challenge revolves around fighting the impulse to write as if a dictionary has been dropped on her head.
Lovingly exploring and creating art, she enjoys painting abstracts, loves reciting poetry, and occasional photography.
As a self-proclaimed gamer geek, she fondly recalls playing ever since she could grasp a Nintendo console. She has her own expert flavor in all the topics and games she dives into, most recently Hunt: Showdown, Don’t Starve Together, and Stardew Valley.
