Nikki Madigan is a writer from Michigan, who has an extensive knowledge in nerd and geek culture, having grown up in a family of geeks. She holds a degree in creative writing and film studies. She has written many creative works in the science fiction and paranormal genre, and currently contributes to two other websites aimed at geeky book lovers. Her experience in video gaming dates back to the Atari and she loves to write about immersive game play as it has developed over the years. Her true love came into her life in 2000 when the first installment of The Sims arrived, and she has been playing god for 20 years. Aside from The Sims, she loves RPGs, Puzzle games, other simulations, and adventure games.
