A native of the southeast and more recently a transplant to Texas, MacKenzie obtained a Master's in English with a focus in creative writing from Texas Tech University. Throughout the acquisition of her degree and beyond, she has taught writing, rhetorical skills, and critical thinking in a university setting, further developing her expertise in those areas as she endeavored to impart those skills to her students. Six years of English study - with a particular focus on creative writing - have given me an intimate understanding of writing not just as an infinitely flexible tool but also as an art form. Mackenzie enjoys playing League of Legends in her spare time but makes sure she doesn't miss out on big RPGs like Sykrim and Dragon Age too.
