Deryk is a 22 year old writer who will always have the heart of a nerd. He grew up always infatuated with geek culture, specifically Comic book movies, Star Wars, and Anime. That infatuation stayed with him as he broadened his horizons and explored different aspects of the nerd community. He eventually paired his passion for that sort of thing with his writing skills when he started writing articles for the Odyssey Online in high school. He continued his writing endeavors into his college years by writing for his college's online newspaper. His writing mostly included analysis and reviews of different kinds of media. He continues this passion today always eagerly seeking out information regarding upcoming films. He enjoys the community that these certain nerdy things bring about.
