After having his entire family killed by the forces of Sauron, the Ranger Talion who was also mortally wounded in the event is revived by the wraith of Elven Lord Celebrimbor, who merges with him to prevent his death. He is now given the opportunity to do what he wants the most: seek revenge after those who killed his beloved ones. Talion discovers that the wraith who revived him is the greatest Elven smith master of the Second Age, who also seeks revenge against Sauron. With amazing powers granted by the Elf, Talion has special skills that can enhance the battle experience, such as the power to slow down time when using the bow and the ability to drain energy from enemies. Completing quests earn the player points to craft new abilities to the sword, bow and knife. The player will also be rewarded with experience points to unlock new abilities and improve the Elf's wraith skills.
