[Top 15] Don't Starve Together Best Mods We Love

Playing DST is fun all on its own, but what if you want to play as Noodle from The Gorillaz or use logical spacing while placing items? That is what mods are for! I am going to tell you about the top 15 mods I use and have found interesting or helpful.

15. MiniMap HUD

This Mod places a mini-map in your HUD.

How the mod makes things more fun

It makes the game easier to have your map on your screen.
You don’t have to push M to see your map so no having to steer clear of mobs or darkness.
It is compatible with other mapping mods.

14. Global Positions

Shows you and your friends where they are in the world.

How the mod makes things more fun

You can see where you and your friends are on the map (which pairs nicely with the mini-map HUD).
This mod fills in the spots other players are running around in.
This and the Mini Map pair nicely with the wormhole mod.

13. Wormhole Icons

Colors the wormholes above ground and the caves to their matching wormhole.

You will never lose which wormhole goes to which, ever again.
You can see the wormholes more clearly on the map.

12. Show Me (Origin)

Shows you the stats of food, mobs, and growth rates.

Knowing the time things are going to grow.
Knowing what exactly is cooking in the crockpot.
Know the stats of your food (Health, Hunger, Sanity).

11. Geometric Placement

Makes it easier to place objects with a neat grid.

Gives you a grid to make your base neat and tidy.
This grid gives you a geometric placement.
Pairs well with the mod Realistic Placement.

10. Realistic Placement

For the most part, it allows you to place objects really, really, close to each other (Warning: you can trap yourself with some objects).

You can trap things by placing certain objects close to each other.
Make more room for more stuff on your base.
Pairs with Geometric Placement so you can see how close you are placing items.

9. Simple Health Bar DST

Gives mobs and yourself a health bar

How the mod makes things more fun

You can see the health of the mobs big and small.
You know exactly how much health is taken away when you’re in battle.
You can watch the mobs dying like any other video game with a health bar.

8. Extra Equip Slot Plus (+Render) [Doom]

Gives you extra slots for wearable items.

How the mod makes things more fun

You can wear a backpack and armor at the same time.
You no longer have to drop a pack to swap it for something else.
You can wear an amulet at the same time as armor and a pack (which is useful when you need to carry things, protect yourself, and possibly come back to life).

She is cute.
She is just an average character like Wilson.
It is nice to play as another skin once in a while.

She has speed and damage multipliers.
She is just as insane as Wendy.

He is resistant to heat

He is always losing sanity.
He loves fish tacos (they give him more health and sanity).
You can change him into his dog suite by pressing T.

Can show you how naughty you are and when Krampus is coming.
Shows you how many days are in each season.
You can see how cold it is or you are.

2. Beards for All

Gives all characters beards with different rewards for shaving.

How the mod makes things more fun

You can get a good laugh seeing your favorite characters with beards.
Everyone drops something different when they shave ( Walter drops bacon and eggs).
It is a funny mod but slightly useful.
